The final day of our journey, only to arrive back where we started. This being the start of the Labor Day weekend we expected lots of traffic. To our surprise in the morning there was very little traffic between Casper and Cheyenne. Leaving Cheyenne after lunch we found the traffic had picked up quite a bit. Of course going through Denver the traffic is always bad but it was not much worse than usual. The worst traffic jam of the entire trip was the last ten miles between Monument and Colorado Springs. They are in the process of widening this stretch but it is just a mess at this point. In any event we arrived home safely at last.
