Day 5 – Jasper National Park

A leisurely day at last. After a quick breakfast we headed over to Athabasca Falls. With the river running full to its banks, the falls we very impressive. There are nice walkways that let you view the falls from both sides of the river as well as above and below. Next we drove up to the Edith Cavell Glacier. Where I explored the lake at the base of the glacier while Nancy stayed down below.

Later we drove into Jasper, the town, had a picnic lunch at a nearby lake and visited a few gift shops in town before returning to our camp for the evening.
